North Bend, WA - Portage Communications, Inc. has signed a deal to sell its Call Center Designerô and SimACDô workforce management software on the new CallCenterDepot.com website.
On line since last October, Call Center Depot has become the call center's industry's most comprehensive site for the dissemination of call center news, product sales and helpful information for call center managers.
Portage's Director of Marketing, Trina Olson, remarked "We have experienced a huge increase this last year in our own web-based sales and are confident that Call Center Depot will play a significant role in our further growth in this area." Portage Communications' Call Center Designer and SimACD software are used by call centers to determine the optimal number of agents needed for each period of time in their work week based on expected call volumes and desired service level goals. Call Center Depot will market the products in the "CCD Warehouse" section of it's website, www.callcenterdepot.com.
Jim Rembach, founder of Call Center Depot, says "we want our site to be the Call Center Industry's departure point in the adventure of looking for all that is needed to manage a Call Center. It is also a place where you can actually purchase or get information about buying needed products and services. There is no other company in the world that brings together this diversity of products and services in a marketplace environment for the Call Center Industry".
Founded in 1993 and located near Seattle, Portage Communications develops and sells call center workforce management software. They currently concentrate on affordable forecasting, staffing, and scheduling software for call centers with agent groups under a hundred seats. Many hundreds of copies of their Call Center Designer and SimACD have been sold worldwide. |
